HOW IT WORKS
Every evaluation, from scratch.
Each search gathers new evidence, writes it up and scores it instantly. If you want an independent verdict, Reppo’s prediction market reviews it next. Here is exactly what happens.
- 01
You name a vendor
Type a company name. You can also attach what the vendor sent you — a description, a data sample (CSV, JSON, PDF and similar), and details like license, size and collection method. Pro users can choose the criteria that matter to them, such as contamination risk, signal density, relevance or diversity.
- 02
We gather public evidence
We collect fresh information from the vendor’s official website and independent public sources at the moment you search. Nothing is pulled from a stored score. Anything the vendor supplied is treated as an unverified claim and weighed against the public record.
- 03
A written evidence report
The evidence is turned into a structured report: what is known and supported, what your sample shows, where the evidence is missing, and the limits of what can be concluded. You can read this report in full on your scorecard.
- 04
Your instant score
Orchestral Lite scores the report straight away: a score out of 100, a confidence level, a decision (accept, revise or reject), a recommended next step (ship, review further, or block) and a breakdown for every criterion. This usually takes a few seconds.
- 05
Optional: a detailed Reppo review
For a second, independent verdict, send the same evidence to Reppo’s prediction market, where reviewers stake on how well it supports each criterion. It takes at least 10 minutes to settle, and longer when other reviews are ahead in the queue. Leave your email and we’ll send the report when it’s ready.
Good to know
What does the score measure?
How strongly the available evidence supports the vendor’s claims. It is not proof that their data has improved a model — it tells you how much you can rely on what’s been shown.
Why offer two scores?
The instant score gets you an answer now. The detailed Reppo review takes longer because it’s settled by reviewers with something at stake. Each one uses one evaluation.
What is the vendor directory?
Vendors with a settled Reppo review, with the date of each review. New searches always run a fresh evaluation.
What happens to files I upload?
They are read in your browser. Only a short summary — row counts, column names and an excerpt — goes into the review. The original files are not stored.
